INDIA'S BEST FINISHER - MS.DHONI(thala no.1)

My cricket obsession started long before I reached adolescence; we Indians regard cricket as a religion; despite the fact that cricket is not our national sport, it is the second most common entity in India after politics; Indian cricket stirs the emotions of every Indian, regardless of age or gender; in this game, we have set numerous world records; we have ruled the world with our spirit to the game.

Although the game was introduced to India by the British in the late 1880s, India joined the 'elite party' in June 1932, which included Australia, England, South Africa, New Zealand, and the West Indies. The first Lords match between India and England drew a crowd of 24,000 people, including the King of the United Kingdom. Cricket is an integral part of Indian culture. The Indian team has a rivalry with the Pakistani team, and matches between the two teams are among the most awaited and widely broadcast matches of all time.

The Indian cricket team started to gain international recognition after winning the first-ever test match in England in the 1970s, and we won the cricket world cup in 1983 under the captaincy of veteran cricketer Kapil Dev, establishing our own legacy in the sport by winning overseas for the first time at the turn of the twenty-first century.

Starting with Kapil dev, who made India the second country to win the 1883 cricket world cup, notable 20th-century players such as Kapil dev, Sunil Gavaskar, Sachin Tendulkar, Ganguly, Sehwag, and Mahendra Singh Dhoni, who were not only notable players in the country but also built a worldwide fandom, have changed the way Indian cricket is played. Our cricketers go through a star-making phase in which they are first put to the test by fans before being considered a player, after which we will treat him as a star and legends to Gods, regardless of the accolades, but if they fail, we will punish them severely. Not only them, but even the remaining teammates, are unconcerned about the chances that we expect them to outperform their opponents.
